SUMMARY:Choral Commons hosts a Round Table discussion on Communal Singing & Forced Migration
DESCRIPTION:June 9th\n\n\n\n8:00 – 9:30pm\n\n\n\nThe Choral Commons is a media platform that provides a space for singing communities to realize the liberatory potential of the ensemble as a site of radical imagining. We promote equitable artistic and organizational practices that harness the positive social impacts of participatory music making for the common good and confront racism\, poverty\, ableism\, LGBTQ+ discrimination\, displacement\, and much more. We produce podcasts and community events\, offer educational resources on justice-centered praxis\, and incubate creative\, artistic\, and compassionate projects that empower choirs and singing communities to work for a just and peaceful world. \n\n\n\nThe Choral Commons – thechoralcommons.com

SUMMARY:East Point GAPanel Discussion w/Alice Lovelace
DESCRIPTION:Alice Lovelace hosts a discussion about the past and  future generations of Atlanta artists. We want to keep Atlanta  history of arts and culture alive\, by acknowledging where we have been and where we are going within our arts community. \nThis is the closing of the Art Exhibition “Catch Me In the A” featuring 30 local artists that represent all things Atlanta. This is the 3rd installation at the brand new ArtsXchange’s Jack Sinclair Gallery. The group exhibition curated by Courtney Brooks explores Atlanta’s rich culture with visions from leading and emerging artists. This is another special line up of amazing ATL creatives that are contributing their gifts by uplifting and inspiring the community.
