DESCRIPTION:The Land and Water as Messengers of the Music\n\n\n\nJune 1 – 4\, 2023\n\n\n\nwith Gayanne Geurin & Elise Witt\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Eastern Shore provides a unique ecosystem to connect deeply to the poetic and musical urges that come with beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the water and the living beings that make this place their home. In this workshop we will step into the heart of listening and bring our revelations in sound and song. \n\n\n\nThe weekend will be bursting with Singing and settling with Silence: ~ Morning meditation\, Chant and Qi gong\, Songs\, Harmony\, Improvisation\, Deep listening\, and Vocal exploration.  \n\n\n\nThere will be opportunities for kayaking\, swimming\, bicycling\, walking\, birding\, and personal discovery. \n\n\n\nElise and Gayanne will lay a framework for connecting with each other and the land/water as all of this offers a conduit to our creativity. We will tune into the story of human impact on this fragile ecosystem.
