Originally from Puerto Rico, now living in New Jersey, Suzzette Ortiz is a dedicated advocate for music education and social change. She is the a former Artistic Director of Artistas y M\u00fasicos Latino Americanos (AMLA), and a certified music practitioner providing Harp comfort music in healthcare settings. She is deeply involved in Circle Singing and M\u00fasica do C\u00edrculo, a practices rooted in the work of Bobby McFerrin and Brazilian leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suzzette is an accomplished pianist, composer, arranger, choral conductor, and music educator. A nationally recognized teacher, she served 32 years in public education; 27 in Camden, New Jersey; empowering students in urban schools through choral music. Her choirs earned top awards at festivals across the U.S. and internationally.
