Renowned poet Alice Lovelace once told me that\u00a0Peace<\/em>\u00a0is a beautiful thing, but it is not enough. True peace requires honoring diversity and demanding justice. In music,\u00a0Harmony<\/em>\u00a0is the combination of two or more sounds that, blended together, are pleasing to the ear and the spirit. However \u201cpleasing\u201d to one ear may be strange to another. Harmony is subjective and cultural. Harmony in the world can be defined as people of many different cultures, customs, and beliefs recognizing and celebrating each others\u2019 differences while also identifying with and sharing the traits common to us all as one human family.
