The Many Faces of one of Atlanta’s Musical Treasures
by Linda Hoopes, President, Atlanta Area Friends of Folk Music
In my wanderings through the AAFFM history files, I keep running across Elise Witt. I learned that in addition to being a performing artist (at AAFFM and around the world) for many years, Elise Witt is a revered teacher and an inspirational force for bringing people together to sing.
She graciously agreed to sit down with me for an interview. Before I went, I took a peek at the bio on her web site and was completely blown away by all she has done. Among other things, she sings in over a dozen languages, and has released 11 solo and collaborative recordings. Click Here for Interview
