Ossabaw Island provides a unique ecosystem to connect deeply with nature, the human story of this place, and the creative expressions that unfold.
We set off on our journey, arriving by boat. Our activities over the weekend include: morning meditation, chant and qi gong; touring the Island and its varied ecosystems; making music with songs and improvisation; creating listening opportunities for nature encounters; and opening to mindfulness of the human story of slavery and capitalism on Ossabaw.
And at mealtimes, we gather for organic locally sourced deliciousness by Chef Lesley Varnadore.
Elise and Gayanne lay a framework for connecting with the environment and each other, offering a conduit to our creativity. The weekend marks Earth Day, an opportunity for us to bring full awareness to this beautiful piece of Earth.

The Club House

- beds are bunk style, each person has a full bunk (upper and lower) to themselves
- 2 rooms have 2 beds
- 1 room has 5 beds
- 2 full baths
- 2 half baths
The Boarding House

- Sleeps 10 – 4 sleeping rooms w/ semi-private accommodations
- 3 downstairs rooms have 2 single beds each and share 2 1/2 baths
- 1 upstairs room has 1 double bed & 2 twin beds w/adjoining full bath
Covid Protocols
- Most of our activities will take place outdoors
- Masks optional
Due to keeping numbers low for Covid and on-island costs, scholarships are not available at this time.

– 50% Deposit due at time of Registration. Deposit will be reimbursed (minus $50 handling) if cancelled before Mar. 1, 2024
– If the trip is postponed, you will have the option to have your payment refunded or apply it to the new dates.
– If the trip is cancelled (let’s hope not!) a full refund will be offered.
