We set off on our journey, arriving by boat. Our activities over the weekend will include:
morning meditation, chant and qi gong, making music with songs and improvisation, touring the Island, listening instructions for nature encounters, walking songs, vocal exploration, open space, being mindful of the human story of slavery and capitalism on Ossabaw Island…
…and gathering for delicious organic locally sourced meals by Chef Leslie Varnadore.
Elise and Gayanne will lay a framework for connecting with each other and the land/water as all of this offers a conduit to our creativity.
Friday April 21 is Earth Day, an opportunity for us to bring full awareness to this beautiful piece of Earth. Ossabaw Island provides a unique ecosystem to connect deeply with nature, the human story of this place, and the creative expressions that unfold.

- beds are bunk style, each person has a full bunk (upper and lower) to themselves
- 2 rooms have 2 beds
- 1 room has 5 beds
- 2 full baths
- 2 half baths
The Boarding House

The Boarding House is FULL
- has 3 sleeping rooms w/ semi-private accommodations
- all rooms have 2 single beds and a sink
- 1 room has private full bath
- 2 rooms share a 1 ½ bath
There is also an outdoor shower
Covid Protocols
- Full vaccination and booster, plus proof of negative test required
- Most of our activities will take place outdoors
- Masks for full group indoor activities
Due to keeping numbers low for Covid and on-island costs, scholarships are not available at this time.
2023 Cost per person *NEW*
- $1190 Clubhouse
- $1265 Boarding House
– Final payment due by April 1, 2023
– 50% Deposit due by Mar. 1, 2023
– If the trip is postponed, you will have the option to have your payment refunded or apply it to the new dates.
– If the trip is cancelled (let’s hope not!) a full refund will be offered.
