UNISON ~ LONG TONE CHORDS ~ SOUL SONG ~ LONG TONE CHORDS ~ UNISON
In a circle, everyone begins with a unison note, long tones, finding perfect unison. Sing into the unison, listening for your voice in the whole, and also noticing when your voice disappears into the whole
Slowly, as the spirit moves, someone begins singing harmony notes, and as others are moved, they begin exploring different notes to create full chords. Each note is held at least one full breath. Sing into the chords, breathing whenever it feels right. Notice your voice in the chord that is ever changing. finding long chords.
Slowly, as the spirit moves, somenone begins to sing their personal Soul Song, expressing how they are feeling and sounding at this particular moment in time. Soul songs continue as long as they need to, and can use words, made up language, vocal sound, whatever need to be sung.
Slowly the group comes back to long tones in harmony. Big chords.
And finally, slowly the group comes back to a unison note, not necessarily the note that started the Palindrome, but a note that everyone agrees on. The unison is held and enjoyed until it is finished. The group feels and knows when that is.
The Magic Moment after the sound ends, allows the music to continue in singers’ bodies, as well as move out into the space, and into the world. Give time for everyone to return from the musical experience.

A NICE POT OF TEA
I’d like a nice pot of tea when I wake up in the morning
Just as the day is a risin’ and a’dawnin’
Won’t it be just the ticket
Floating on the sea, sippin’ cups of tea
