Description
“I love you like Swiss cheese loves holes,” was the note from my friend Ed Loring at the Open Door Community in Atlanta. This was one in a long series of engaging and unusual juxtapositions of “I love you like…” Ed has sent. Poetry teachers advise us to banish “like” from our writing. Contrarily, inspired by Ed and all the wonderful writing teachers, I decided to try my hand at a total “Like” poem.
