Ann Kilkelly and Carol Burch Brown have joined with Patrick Turner to create the crazy, quirky band Junk DNA. Tap dance, ukuleles, upright bass, and great vocal harmonies define their sound on songs like Tiny Tim’s “The Ice Caps Are Melting” and the 1903 hit “Airship.” I have had so much fun collaborating with them every time I’m in VA, most recently at the Floyd Country Store. My collaborations with Ann and Carol go way back to all kinds of multi-media, extraordinary performances including The Darwin Project, Postcards from Home, Jazzing Women, and Hair Hands & Feet.
